The zia is sacred in New Mexico symbolizing the 4 seaons, 4 directions, 4 stages of life and 4 times of day. At 5/8" wide by 3/4" long, the pendant hangs gracefully from an 18 inch sterling silver chain that fastens with a silver lobster clasp. An ideal present for both native New Mexicans and tourists.
